You are, who you are online and more. Like it or not, you have an online brand. You can choose to ignore it or choose to foster it, but your clients are looking at you online right now. In today’s day and age Google is where many clients will find you – actually that’s not true, Google is the place many clients will look for you, and it’s up to your brand if they find you. (A great place to see how influential you are is Klout.com).
Brand trumps Skill (kind of)! Your clients are looking for a strong brand. A strong brand online gets you photography assignments.
  • What are your plans for 2015 when it comes to your online strategy?
  • How do you use your online presence to make yourself more valuable for potential and existing clients?
  • What’s the biggest success story you’ve had that you can trace back to your online audience?
Branding is continuing process for your business. And what works for others may not work for you based on your particular goals. Ignoring Branding can cost you serious time and money. Let this seminar jump start your thinking!

Clyde Butcher's Coconut Grove Gallery GRAND OPENING Friday February 13 2:00pm - 8:00pm 2994 McFarlane Rd Miami, FL

Clyde Butcher Photo Gallery Opens in Coconut Grove

Clyde Butcher, whose famed photographs of primeval Florida rest upon the patient art of standing in water and muck until the light and the elements arrange themselves into the perfect composition, doesn’t actually seem to do a whole lot of sitting still.
There are the talks, the open houses and book signings at his galleries in Venice and in Ochopee on the Tamiami Trail, the traveling exhibits — there’s one in Sarasota, “Preserving Eden,” featuring photos of Florida, and another, just closed at the Museum of the Rockies in Montana, of American landscapes — and, this week, the grand opening of his third gallery, in Miami’s Coconut Grove.
Always, too, there are new photographic journeys.
Butcher, who works only in black and white, just got back from photographing majestic old oaks in Louisiana and will soon head to the Florida Panhandle to photograph coastal dunes local activists are trying to save from development. This spring and summer, he will work in the Ten Thousand Islands in the Everglades and return to his beloved stomping grounds in Big Cypress, and then it’s on to Denali in Alaska, a state he has never visited. That will leave only one state he has never shot in: North Dakota. READ MORE HERE

About Omar:

Omar Cruz is considered one of the most important portrait photographers among celebrities. He has worked with household names including President Obama, Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin, Christina Aguilera, Celia Cruz, Marc Anthony, Pitbull, Eva Longoria, Juanes, Shakira, Zoe Saldana, Sofia Vergara and Thalia, to name just a few. In his commercial work brands like Got MilkT-MobileAbsolut Vodka and Pepsi trust his vision. (Photo credit: Thalia)
Says Cruz, "Photography is not only a medium I use to express my vision, it's been the center of my life. Everything to me is a possible photograph. I am constantly meeting amazing people who become my subjects; the world is my location and my everyday feeds my vision."
Omar was born in New York and raised in Puerto Rico. He started to experiment early on with light and shadows and eventually mastered that intuitive vision which makes every picture far more than a good composition. His career came up through the ranks during the 90s in Miami, with the boom of Latin music that allowed him to travel the world with his art.
His images have been featured in magazines such as TimeVanity FairVogueGQPeople Magazine and People En EspaƱol to name a few. His photography accomplishes classic tones, sophisticated points of view, and a film treatment. Every piece of his work involves the viewer in such a way it brings them closer to his subject’s essence.
