That’s three titles for a town and two crowns for its king.
With a season, a playoffs, an NBA Finals and a Game 7 that will echo for years to come, the Miami Heat defeated the San Antonio Spurs 95-88 on Thursday night at AmericanAirlines Arena to win its second NBA championship in a row and cap the most exciting two weeks in South Florida sports history.
LeBron James played stunning, brilliant basketball to earn the NBA Finals MVP for the second straight year and Dwyane Wade, who played throughout the playoffs despite knee problems, saved his best for the final game of a grueling postseason. James finished with 37 points, 12 rebounds and four assists, going 12 of 23 from the field, 5 of 10 from three-point range and 8 of 8 from the free-throw line. Wade had 23 points, 10 rebounds and an assist and made 11 of his 21 attempts.
“This team is amazing, and the vision that I had when I decided to come here is all coming true,” James said. “Through adversity, through everything we’ve been through, we’ve been able to persevere and to win back-to-back championships. It’s an unbelievable feeling. I’m happy to be part of such a first-class organization.”

Welcome, South Florida, to the gates of sports heaven. Immortality is one win away. This is Game 7 of the NBA Finals.
With one basketball game, the 2012-13 Heat, in its 25th season as a franchise, has the chance to go down as a back-to-back NBA champion and one of the best teams in Miami sports history.
So much has happened already to set this team apart. It won a franchise record 66 games in a sparkling regular season that included a 27-game winning streak. LeBron James won his second consecutive MVP Award and fourth in five years. The Heat outslugged the Indiana Pacers with a Game 7 victory in the Eastern Conference finals and willed itself to this point by surviving elimination in Game 6 of the Finals.

Big 3 Helps Miami Heat Level Series With Spurs

SAN ANTONIO -- For the longest time this postseason, the Heat’s blueprint of a Big 3 seemed like an outdated set of specs incapable of building momentum, let alone a championship.
On Thursday in Texas, Miami’s Pillars 3 reminded the NBA it’s still sturdy enough to prop up a team on the brink and shift an NBA Finals in the most crucial of times. Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and LeBron James combined to score 85 points Thursday in the Heat’s 109-93 victory against the Spurs at San Antonio’s AT&T Center to tie the NBA Finals at 2-2. Game 5 is on Sunday before the series shifts back to Miami for the final two games.
“It was a little bit of everything they provided for us,” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said of Wade, Bosh and James. “We needed every bit of it tonight.”

Miami Heat Fan Justin Bieber at Courtside
Apparently Justin Drew
Bieber, a Canadian pop musician, actor, and singer-songwriter is a fan of the
Miami Heat but not photographers. When I got up to photograph the teen idol during
a time out in the basketball game, he covered his face.
It’s a bit odd to me. He is
sitting at courtside in front of thousands watching the NBA Eastern Conference
Finals between the Miami Heat and the Indiana Pacers at the AmericanAirlines
Arena in Miami.
Photographers from across
the court can easily photograph him from their floor positions. Fans are
frantically scrambling to shoot him with their smart phones and Heat TV
plasters his face all over the jumbo screen hanging over mid court.
Now there are reports that
Bieber's bodyguards are accused of roughing up a photographer who was taking
photos of Bieber skateboarding at a North Miami recording studio.
Thursday night is Game 1 of
the NBA Finals between the defending champion Miami Heat and the San Antonio
Spurs. Watch for my galleries, tweets and more Bieber sightings from both
cities during the next two weeks.

Before an image is recorded, the photographer must "see" the image in order to define it for the camera. There are many books, videos, classes, and talks available to teach you the mechanics of using your camera but not many describe how to visualize and compose the photograph.
This presentation is about "Seeing" the image. I'll focus more on the artistic side of seeing color, light, and composition and less on the mechanics of f-stops, shutter speeds, and camera brands. I will give you an insight into the way I visualize an image and how I approach capturing the moment.
The techniques I use can be applied by anyone regardless of camera or lenses. My goal is to teach you ways of "seeing" in order to create more visually appealing and unique images.
My hope is for each and every attendee to walk away inspired to look at their subjects in a new way.

Not So Fast... NBA Eastern Conference Finals.
It has not been a fun Sunday flying on an air-o-plane back to
Miami for “Manic Monday”!
