 Chris Suspect, acclaimed street and documentary photographer from Washington, DC, will discuss and present images from his long form documentary project FAITH that tells a powerful visual story about a community’s response to discrimination, both racial and religious. FAITH will be published in spring 2019 by FotoEvidence.

Eléonore Simon
 Eléonore Simon is a French-American photographer and a curator with Women in Street whose work has been exhibited in the United States and in London. After obtaining her master’s degree in art history, Eléonore moved to New York and fell in love with street photography. There, she worked as a studio manager and served as a teaching assistant at the International Center of Photography. Eléonore now lives in Chile where she is developing new work. Her photography offers an aesthetic and mysterious representation of the world: unusual camera angles, stark shadows and graphic elements create an abstracted depiction of urban life.

Barbara Peacock
 Barbara Peacock is an assignment photographer living in Portland, Maine. She studied fine arts at Boston University School of Fine Arts, and photography and filmmaking at The School for the Museum of Fine Arts / Tufts University. She started as a street photographer and gradually became an assignment lifestyle photographer. Her commercial clients include Arm & Hammer, French's, Disney, Stride Rite, Brookstone. Editorial clients include People, Newsweek, Real Simple, Family Circle, Oprah, Family Fun. My images have been licensed by Toyota, Coca-Cola, Kodak, Wells Fargo, Tylenol, Volkswagen etc.
In 2016 she published Hometown –1982-2015 - A thirty-year photographic project of the small town where she grew up and continued to live as an adult. Published by BazanPhotos Publishing, Brooklyn NY. Printed in the USA by Puritan Capital.
Her current project, American Bedroom- reflections on the nature of life is a cultural and anthropological study of Americans in their private dwelling; their bedrooms. It will encompass the entire United States. It was the recent recipient of the Getty Editorial Grant 2017.
She founded a non-profit organization ‘The Nightingale Project’ that teaches art and photography to needy children. She travels with a mix of adults and high school students. Journeys so far have been to Haiti, Cambodia and New York.

Jamie Rose
 Jamie Rose is a Co-Founder and the COO of Momenta Group, LLC, which owns Momenta Workshops and Momenta Creative. Jamie’s early career was spent in the halls of power as a Press Corps photojournalist covering Capitol Hill and the White House, primarily as a contractor for The New York Times.
Her passion for working with nonprofits leads her documentary coverage of humanitarian and health crisis in Africa, South America, and the Middle East. Her clients included organizations such as Doctors Without Borders, The Calvert Foundation, The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Malaria, & Tuberculosis, and Physicians for Human Rights among others.
In 2011, Jamie was awarded the United Nations’ Photographers Leadership Award. She has also won acclaim from the Alexia Foundation for Global Peace & Cultural Understanding, as well as the White House News Photographers’ Association Project Grant for her portfolio of Doctors Without Borders (MSF) health care workers in wartime Northern Uganda. Jamie is considered an expert in nonprofit communications and has been interviewed about the importance of storytelling in nonprofit communications by Photo District News (PDN), Creative Marketing & Business Podcast, and News Photographer Magazine among others. She has been an invited lecturer on communications for nonprofits at The Foundation Center, Colombia University, Hiram College, University of Oregon, the Northern Short Course, as well as her alma maters.
Jamie holds degrees in Communications from American University and the S.I. Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University. She lives in the mountains of Oregon with her husband, co-founder of Momenta John Chris Anderson, and their rescue dog, Cody

Ricardo Perini
 Ricardo Perini was born in Goiânia, State of Goias, in Brazil. Perini studied Forestry and Photography at ICP and SVA in New York City. He is an avid street photographer and a member of FLANARES, a street photo collective from Brazil that is MSPF’s guest Collective exhibit this year.
His new book “Virtude Cênica” (Scenic Virtue) curated by Eder Chiodetto, renowned photography curator in Brazil, will be officially released at this year’s festival.
Perini currently lives and works in Curitiba as an Architectural and Interiors Photographer.

Vladimir Marcano
 Vladimir Marcano, from Caracas, Venezuela works as a freelance documentary photographer focusing on reportage, portraits and editorials for newspapers and magazines in Venezuela and abroad.
In 2009 his work started to get published in multiple newspapers and magazines, including: The Guardian, Bloomberg News, Cambio 16, Univision, La Nacion, El Mundo, Diario Reforma and Veja Magazine. Last year he was short-listed at the Latin American Photobook Award, Cuatro Caminos Museum, Mexico City (2017), for his book “El Mal” about the neurodegenerative disease of el Zambito in the impoverished village of Barraquitas.
Marcano has received a third special mention in the Documentary category at the 1st Photography Biennial Daniella Chappard (2000), Honorable Mention at the VII Pirelli Salon of Young Artists (2007) and Finalist at the first Latin American Photography competition, Monterrey, Mexico (2018).
Marcano has had numerous exhibitions in Venezuela; he has also exhibited in Indonesia, Holland and Mexico. His exhibit “La Tempestad” (The Tempest) is one of MSPF’s satellite exhibits this year, at the Miami Institute of Photography.

Anna Van Lenten
 Anna Van Lenten curates the The Half King Photo Series in Manhattan at The Half King, 505 West 23 Street, and Director of the LightField Festival.
The photography that the Series champions deepens and clarifies issues of our time and news stories we race through day to day. Projects in the Series highlight the strange and compelling, the overlooked and underreported. To illuminate context, text, video, or audio is often pulled in as part of our presentation.
The Series bi-monthly exhibit openings and photo book launches are live events centered around a print exhibit or photo project. Driven by conversation, they are a chance for audience and photographer to engage with each other about the layered ideas in the photographer's work. Such face-to-face connection invites fresh, un-canned insight about the photography at hand. The intelligence, spontaneity, and focus Half King audiences bring are vital to our screen-centered lives.

Bob Patterson
 Bob Patterson is a photographer, web developer and publisher of Street Photography Magazine. Originally trained as a journalist, he created the magazine out of his love of street and documentary photography and desire to find his own photographic voice. While conducting interviews with photographers from around the world he strives to ask questions on behalf of other photographers on the same path.
Over the past 6 years of publishing Street Photography Magazine he as reviewed the work and studied the portfolios of hundreds of photographers at all skill levels. In the process he has identified some common traits of those who have gained notoriety in the digital world as well common mistakes that can be avoided.

Casey Meshbesher
 Casey Meshbesher is a fine art and street photographer from Minnesota. Casey has been involved with video and photography for the past 25 years. A social media enthusiast, Casey is the founder of Women in Street.
Women in Street is a multi-platform social media collaborative, a global network established in 2016, which provides a blogzine and several social media platforms. It provides a community forum, and showcases the work of emerging talent and seasoned artists.

Jorge Garcia
 Jorge Garcia (Born Miami, 1984) is a NYC based freelance photographer. He spends most of his time wondering sidewalks looking for interesting spontaneous moments. He always shoots candidly and rarely speaks to the people he captures. Influences include Gary Winogrand, Matt Stuart, Gus Powell, Aaron Berger, and Andrei Wagner to name a few. Clients include Vice, Konbini, AirBnb. and Next Level UK.
In 2015, he founded the NYC Street Photography Collective ( NYC-SPC) as a way for local street photographers to meet and share their thoughts on the genre as an alternative to web based communities. The goal was to establish a local community for street photographers to exchange ideas, experiences, photographs, while promoting the art of shooting street.

Andy Kochanowski
 Andy Kochanowski is a proud citizen of the city of Detroit, MI, and a founding member of the Burn My Eye street photography collective. He has been doing street and documentary photography for over 15 years. His work has been published in numerous print and online publications and has been exhibited in Berlin, Warsaw, London, Paris, Milan, Detroit and Wales.
