"Over the course of a year, I traveled to the Texas panhandle region to photograph friends, acquaintances and anyone I encountered in their daily lives. These images reflect the rhythm of the region."

Opening reception in Wynwood for
Master of Fine Arts Photo Exhibition
on the next two Saturdays, March 14th & 21st.
UM’s Art Gallery in Wynwood.
2750 N.W. 3rd Avenue
During the last five years, after I took a buyout from the Miami Herald (when it was still standing and on the bay), I have gone back to school at the University of Miami, earning my Bachelor’s Degree in 2012 and, fingers-crossed, this May I will receive my Master of Fine Arts in Photography/Digital Imaging.
The next two Saturday nights, March 14th and 21st, I will be hosting opening receptions at my University of Miami Master of Fine Arts in Photography Thesis Exhibition at UM’s Art Gallery in Wynwood.
March 14th is my official Department of Art & Art History opening. However, UM is on Spring Break until March 16th. In order to give my students (yes, I’m teaching one class–ART 210 this spring semester) and anyone else who is actually breaking, an opportunity to see the show, snack a little, drink a little, tell big lies and visit.
I’m hosting an alternate opening reception on March 21st and calling it a Friends & Family reception. I'm inviting past co-workers, friends, neighbors, family, and random people I meet on the street, to come see what kind of images I’ve been taking the past two years. Anyone I know (or don’t know yet) can come to either reception. No RSVP’s needed. If the tinyURL didn’t work, here the BIGurl: http://www.morelandthanpeople.com Y’all come.
